Accessibility statement
- Standard
- This site aims to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
- Scope
- All public v1 templates: home, about, experience, contact, accessibility, projects, lab, research, and notes index and detail pages.
- Known limitations
- The homepage portrait uses a text alternative; the About page childhood photo has a descriptive caption.
- Embedded YouTube players depend on third-party iframe markup; direct YouTube links are provided next to each embed as an equivalent fallback.
- IBM sensory-characteristics review items for words such as "left" and "right" were checked as descriptive or scientific prose, not visual-only instructions.
- No contact form is provided until a public email address is confirmed.
- Report accessibility issues
- Please use the contact page to report barriers. A dedicated accessibility email will be added when available.
- Last reviewed
- Testing methods
- Automated: axe-core 4.13.0 with jsdom against built HTML in CI (zero critical/serious).
- Automated: IBM Equal Access Accessibility Checker 4.0.32 against built public routes, failing CI on unapproved confirmed violations.
- Manual keyboard: tab order, visible focus, skip link on Home, project, and Contact pages.
- Browser review: 320 px reflow, forced-colors emulation, and direct video fallbacks.
- Screen reader: VoiceOver or NVDA smoke test recommended before launch.
- No-JS: primary content verified in static HTML output.
